Overview

The 2019 Hong Kong E-Prix has thrilled fans with true street racing in the heart of the city centre over the last three seasons with the majority of the on-track action taking place on existing roads against the spectacular Hong Kong Skyline. 5 units of 350kVA SSME gensets were deployed for the charging of the racing car and on site air-conditioning.

Black Point Power Station

The VEC consists of a 3-storey inspection hall and a 7-storey office block with a total construction floor area of 64,350m2. It replaces the three existing VECs in Kowloon Bay and To Kwa Wan and the daily handling capacity can be 1,000 vehicle inspections per day. During construction, 3 nos of DCA400ESEI gensets with SSME were deployed for electrical power provision for 4 tower cranes and site facliities such as lighting, pumps, hoist lifts, welders, etc. Remote monitoring can keep track of the genset condition and 43% fuel cost reduction was made.
